How To Quickly Check Forklift Engine System Failure?

Q: The engine speed is low - the forklift battery is low, you can charge the battery directly;

Q: Engine speed is low - poor circuit connection - check if the wires are loose;

Q: The engine speed is low - the starter is faulty, is the contact between the engine brush and the commutator poor, is the connection between the internal wiring head of the starter poor?

Q: When the oil pressure is too high, the lubricating oil quality is poor, the oil viscosity is too low, or gasoline and water are mixed into the oil, the lubricating oil should be replaced directly;

Q: The engine accessories cannot start or start with difficulty - there is insufficient fuel in the fuel tank or the fuel tank switch is not turned on;

Q: The forklift engine parts are not powerful enough - the oil supply pipe is blocked, damaged or the joints are leaking;

Q: The engine is running unsteadily - the carburetor is not working properly, the mixture is insufficient or too lean;

Q: Gasoline pump or oil transfer pump fails - check for ruptured membrane, falling connecting rod and other faults;

Q: Fuel filter is clogged - clean the forklift filter;

Q: If the engine body is overheating or running unstably, or the power is insufficient or unstable, it can be judged that the fuel injection pump is faulty - check and eliminate it;

Q: The engine parts cannot start, start with difficulty or have insufficient power. The fuel injection pump drive device is damaged.

Q: The fuel injection pump or ignition timing is incorrect - adjust the injection advance angle, adjust the forklift engine to start easily, no black smoke during operation, and no metallic knocking sound (fuel injection too early); adjust the ignition time to: if the ignition is too early, there will be a metallic knocking sound (sudden explosion) during acceleration; if the ignition time is too late, the exhaust pipe will emit black smoke or a popping sound.

Q: The engine exhaust pipe emits black smoke or bubbling sound - insufficient compression;

Q: The forklift engine has insufficient power - the fuel tank vent is clogged;

Q: The forklift engine power is insufficient - the fuel brand is incorrect. You can use fuel according to the engine brand first;

Q: The forklift engine has insufficient power or is running unstably - the throttle is stuck or movement is obstructed - check and eliminate the problem;

Q: The forklift engine parts are underpowered or the engine body is overheating - the cylinder is overheating;

Q: Insufficient power of forklift engine parts - engine overheating, operation time is too long;

Q: The forklift cylinder compression force is insufficient - the engine is not precisely adjusted;

Q: Insufficient compression force of forklift cylinder - valve blocked;

Q: Forklift crankcase pressure is too high - cylinder liner wear;

Q: The compression force of the forklift cylinder is insufficient - the valve and valve seat are in poor contact and the seal is not tight;

Q: Insufficient compression force of forklift cylinder - piston ring is damaged, worn or burned;

Q: The forklift engine power is insufficient - the valve clearance is too large, and there is a valve knocking sound. The clearance should be adjusted as required;

Q: The forklift engine parts have insufficient power - the valve clearance is too small, the valve clearance should be adjusted according to the engine requirements;

Q: Insufficient compression force of forklift cylinder - valve stem or valve guide is worn;

Q: The oil pressure is too low - the oil brand is incorrect, change to the correct oil;

Q: The forklift engine parts are underpowered - the valves are worn or malfunctioning;

Q: The oil pressure is too low - the amount of oil is insufficient;

Q: The oil pressure is too high - the oil gauge is inaccurate;

Q: The oil pressure is too low - the oil pump is too worn or the bolts are loose and leaking;

Q: Oil pressure is too low - the forklift's lubrication system safety valve is stuck in the open position;

Q: Oil pressure is too high - the forklift's lubrication system safety valve is stuck in the closed position;

Q: The oil pressure is too low - the safety valve spring of the forklift's lubrication system is broken;

Q: Insufficient compression force in the forklift cylinder - valve spring is damaged;

Q: The engine body is overheating - the engine cooling system is leaking or the cooling water is insufficient;

Q: Engine body overheating - the engine fan drive belt is too loose and cannot drive the water pump;

Q: Engine block overheating - thermostat not working;

Q: The engine body is overheated - the forklift water pump loses its pumping function due to failure;

Q: Engine block overheating - excessive scale in the water jacket, blocking the flow of cooling water;

Q: The engine block is overheating - the radiator is blocked by dirt;

Q: The oil pressure is too low - the oil pan lubricating oil coarse filter is blocked;

Q: The oil pressure is too high - the main oil channel is blocked;

Q: Forklift crankcase pressure is too high - ventilation pipe is blocked;

Q: The oil pressure is too low - the clearance of the crankshaft front bearing is too large;

Q: Engine block overheating - incorrect valve timing.
